Voyageurs Retreat development consists of over 250 1-3 acre parcels spread out into 13 distinct settlements. Each Settlement has its own unique geopgraphy and natural character.
Voyageurs Retreat Bike Trail:
Voyageurs Retreat nonmotorized bike trail features natural crushed rock surface that runs the length of Voyageurs Retreat. Bikes and Hikers that travel along this trail will see the unique shift in natural landscapes as they cross between the settlements. Near the North end of Wynne Lake at the middle of the development, the bike trail conncects with the 132 mile paved Mesabi Trail. The bike trail provides access to Giants Ridge with a bridge over the narrows between Sabin and Wynne lake.
The Mesabi Trail is a 132 mile long paved bike trail that passes between Grand Rapids to Aurora and Ely. It connects several Iron Range communities with trail heads at each of those communities.
